The Story Behind GYANAMGURU-AS

From First Command to Full Infrastructure

A journey that started with curiosity, grew through practical learning, and continues to empower the next generation of IT engineers.

The Humble Beginning

Mine began with a computer.

In 2003, a village boy touched a computer and discovered a completely new world. I still remember running my first DOS commands — MD and CD. They were just simple commands. But for me, they were the beginning of something much bigger.

At that time, computers were mainly used in offices for MS Word, MS Excel, and basic business applications. I started learning Word and Excel and spent nearly three years working with computers.

But curiosity has a strange habit. The more I learned, the more questions I had:

“What is inside a computer? How does the hardware work? Why does a computer fail? How can I repair it? Can I build a career in IT?”

Then came the biggest question: “I want to become a Computer Hardware Engineer — but how?”

The Road Was Not Clear

Like thousands of students in India, I had enthusiasm but very little direction.

I moved to a city to learn computer hardware and discovered two different paths: Chip-Level Repair and Card-Level Repair. Again, I had a question: “Which one should I choose?”

At that point, some friends helped me discover another world — the world of IT infrastructure and networking. For the first time, I heard about CCNA and MCSA. These were not just certifications to me; they were a doorway into a completely new career.

I chose the card-level hardware path, where I learned:

At that time, a 1024 Kbps internet connection was considered a major connection. There was no YouTube for every problem, no AI assistant ready to explain a technology, and no endless collection of online tutorials.

If you wanted to learn, you had to find someone who knew, read whatever material you could find, practice, fail, troubleshoot, and try again. And that is exactly what I did.

2006 — The Journey Becomes a Career

In 2006, I started my professional career as a Desktop Support Engineer. But getting a job was not the end of the journey — it was the beginning.

Alongside my work, I continued studying MCSA and CCNA. Certification itself was another challenge. In those days, Prometric certification centers were available only in selected cities in India. Getting certified meant travelling, arranging resources, preparing seriously, and taking a risk.

But when you don't have many resources, determination becomes your biggest resource.

Eventually, in 2010, I achieved my MCSA and CCNA certifications. That moment was more than receiving two certificates. It was proof that someone who started with a simple DOS command could continue learning and build a career in technology.

From Student to Teacher

After completing my certifications, I started working as an IT Faculty in Delhi. Teaching gave me something extremely valuable: the opportunity to share knowledge.

But I soon realized something important. Knowing technology from books and classrooms is different from managing technology in a real production environment.

Production environments teach you through pressure, failures, troubleshooting, responsibility, and experience. So I made another decision: I moved from teaching into professional IT infrastructure and started my journey as a Network Engineer.

Learning Never Stopped

Over the years, my journey continued through different areas of IT:

Every job brought a new problem. Every problem became a lesson. Every lesson became experience. And every experience created another question: “What can I learn next?” That question is still with me today.

Why GYANAMGURU-AS?

After years of working, learning, teaching, troubleshooting, and working with real IT environments, I realized something. There are millions of people who want to enter IT.

The Beginners

Students who don't know where to start.

The Engineers

Engineers who know theory but struggle with real troubleshooting.

The Advancers

Desktop support engineers moving into core networking.

The Veterans

Experienced pros looking for practical knowledge sharing.

I was once one of them. I know what it feels like to have questions and not know whom to ask. I know what it feels like to search for an answer with limited resources. I know the difference between learning a command and understanding why that command is required.

That is why GYANAMGURU-AS was created.

More Than a Website

GYANAMGURU-AS is not simply a collection of articles, commands, or tutorials. It is an attempt to create the kind of technical learning environment I wished I had when I started.

Our Core Focus: Don't just learn what a technology does. Learn how it works, why it is used, how it fails, and how to troubleshoot it.

Building a Team, Not Just a Website

GYANAMGURU-AS is also growing beyond an individual journey. I have built a team of trained and experienced IT engineers who contribute to technical support, troubleshooting, infrastructure assistance, and knowledge sharing.

Together, we want to create a community where knowledge moves forward. Because technology changes every day, and learning cannot stop.

My Message to Every Beginner

If you are starting your IT career today and feel that you don't have enough knowledge, resources, or direction, remember one thing:

You don't need to know everything on Day One. You only need the courage to learn the first thing. Then the next. Then the next.

Your first command may look small. Your first certification may look difficult. Your first job may not be your dream job. Your first troubleshooting failure may make you frustrated.

But every step can become part of something much bigger. I started with a computer. I started with questions. I started without knowing where the road would lead. And that journey eventually became my career.
